To quote you a shipping price we need to know the weight & dimensions of the shipping box(es) along with the delivery address. We will ship the goods the most economical way unless you have specific shipping requirements (ie Rush, charged to your courier's account number, etc). A member of our team will advise the shipping charges for your approval prior to us processing your order.
Delivery of your order will typically be attempted on regular business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian holidays) between 8 am and 5 pm. Most regular and express deliveries are shipped via ground transportation. In some circumstances, deliveries will be shipped by another delivery method such as air transportation, as required. An order submitted by 5 pm EST usually ships from our fulfillment centre within three regular business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) of order receipt. The number of days required for order processing and delivery, is estimated, but cannot be guaranteed. Any order sent to remote locations or rural centres may require extra shipping time. Please also note that unexpected weather conditions and seasonal peaks may cause delays in delivery.
In the event of over sized items to be delivered in certain remote locations (such as Air-Stage communities) extra delivery charges may be incurred. In any such case, an agent will contact you to discuss the handling of your order. Should you be unavailable to sign for your delivery and a safe drop-off location is not available, the delivery service courier will leave you instructions on how to pick up your order. Also note in these cases, the courier may require assistance to unload your order if it exceeds 31.8 kg (70 lbs).
Non-standard Delivery Locations
If your order is to be delivered to an apartment or condominium, it may be necessary to pick up your parcel in the lobby of your building. If your regular mail is serviced by a Community Mailbox, Group Mailbox, General Delivery, or RR #, you may be required to pick up your parcel at your local post office or agent. A Delivery Notice card will be left in your mail receptacle to inform you of the parcel. If pick up is not possible for you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to arrange for alternate shipping methods.
The risk of loss for the items in your order passes to you (the purchaser) at the time of delivery to the third party delivery service provider.
If your order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it.
Right to Refuse
Should, for any reason (such as fraud or international laws) Window Hardware Company deem it necessary to cancel your order, Window Hardware Company will refund you the amount (if any) received through any payment means to you via any means deemed reasonable by Window Hardware Company, its agents or contractors.
Our Return Policy
You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Window Hardware Company within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less a 15% restocking fee unless the return is a result of our error. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Window Hardware Company (at the discretion of its agents or contractors) will also pay any return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
Your refund payment is subject to the same policies as the shipping terms above and may not be immediate. The wait time for refunds includes the transit time for us to receive and process your return; as well as the time it takes your bank or credit card company to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, or if you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please contact us at email@example.com BEFORE returning the original item. Please note that ordering an incorrect part is not considered ordering a faulty part, and you are solely responsible for ordering the correct part(s). Window Hardware Company may charge an additional restocking or exchange fee of no less than 5%.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center.
